The 10th International Conference on Sustainable Metallurgy and Advanced Materials (SMAM 2025) is scheduled to be held in Jeju Island, South Korea from July 25 to 27, 2025.
 

The conference focuses primarily on metallurgy, sustainable metallurgy, advanced materials science. The conference and the publications arising from it will trigger further related research and technological improvements in this important field.


As we approach the 10th anniversary of our esteemed International Conference on Metallurgy Technology and Materials, we are excited to announce a significant evolution in our conference title and focus. Starting in 2025, the conference will be rebranded as the "10th International Conference on Sustainable Metallurgy and Advanced Materials (SMAM)." This change reflects our commitment to addressing the pressing challenges and opportunities in the field of materials science and metallurgy, particularly the growing emphasis on sustainability. In recent years, the global landscape has witnessed an increasing awareness of the environmental impact of industrial processes, including those in metallurgy. Researchers and practitioners alike are now prioritizing sustainable practices that not only enhance material performance but also minimize ecological footprints. The shift towards sustainable metallurgy encompasses a wide range of topics, including the development of eco-friendly materials, innovative recycling techniques, and the integration of renewable resources into manufacturing processes.   • Presentations of accepted academic and practitioner research papers; poster session; oral session

Publication



Submitted papers will be strictly reviewed by organizing committees. Accepted and presented papers will be included in SMAM 2025 Conference Proceedings, which will be submitted for inclusion in major databases such as EI Compendex, Scopus and Scholar.
